New Features of Graphics Importer Components

This section describes the graphics importer component features which are new to QuickTime 4. These include

support for image formats with multiple images in a single file
support for 64-bit file sizes
the ability to retrieve default settings
support for extracting embedded ColorSync profiles in an image file
the ability to get/set the destination rectangles

Each of these features are explained briefly in the next section. The specific functions are described in detail in the section "Graphics Importer Components Reference" .
